What’s Ultrasonic cavitation or Lipo-Cavitation and how does it work?

Ultrasonic cavitation is a nonsurgical FDA-approved aesthetic treatment, widely recognized as one of the most effective procedures for localized fat reduction. Thanks to cavitation technology, this specially designed and effective treatment dissolves and liquefies fat cells which can then be naturally drained by the body’s own lymphatic system.

How it works: Ultrasonic Cavitation is a non-invasive treatment that converts fat cells into a liquid that can be drained naturally through lymphatic drainage. It is also known as cavitation liposuction, lipo-cavitation and ultrasonic liposuction, this treatment is a non-surgical procedure, it does not require rest time, anesthesia and non-invasive, after each session it allows a complete social life both before and after treatment. The treatment is recommended to be done in a cosmetic office certified by the health department, with certified personnel and experience in this procedure.

This type of therapy targets and destroys subcutaneous fat cells in the fat cell membranes through a series of microscopic implosions. It literally causes fat cells to “leak” their contents into the fluid spaces of your body. Then it activates the body’s own lymphatic system, which is responsible for collecting this waste material, taking it to the liver and from there it is eliminated through urine, sweat and feces.

Benefits:  This treatment is touted as a safer alternative to liposuction because it’s non-invasive and requires minimal recovery time. It’s ideal for those looking to contour specific areas and reduce bothersome fat pockets

Effectiveness: Studies show promising results for fat reduction, but more research is needed to determine its long-term effectiveness. While it reduces fat, it may not necessarily lead to weight loss.

Suitability: This treatment is best for those in good health, close to their ideal weight, and with realistic expectations about fat reduction. It’s not intended for significant weight loss.

Results and expectations: The results of the treatment are visible immediately, but like any non-invasive treatment, a series of sessions is needed to see the desired and result, considering that your body still processes and eliminates fat cells after the procedure, the process can take a few days and you will continue to experience results during this time. It must be considered that ultrasound cavitation is not a method to lose weight, but rather to eliminate localized fat and shape the body. It is used to reduce stubborn pockets of fat that simply do not disappear with diet and exercise, also to improve the appearance of cellulite, although for cellulite, lipolysis or Ultrasonic Radio Frequency treatment is more recommended.
