Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is a cosmetic treatment that permanently removes unwanted facial and body hair. If they use real laser and approved by the FDA” the treatment is fast, effective, and safe. The color in the hair (melanin) attracts the laser energy that travels through the hair selectively affecting the derma papilla (where the hair grows) without causing any damage to the surrounding skin. Laser hair removal is only effective when hair is in the active stage of its growth cycle (In the Anagen state), which is why multiple sessions are required to get the desired results.
Laser treatment destroys active follicles. Over the course of multiple sessions, you will see the hair get progressively finer as you progress through the treatments. Diode Laser for hair removal – Lumenis The LightSheer Diode laser technology is another true and “gold standard” laser in the industry. It is the most suitable technology for laser hair removal if you have fine, light hair and light skin tone.

The number varies depending on the state of the hair. For most, a minimum of six to twelve treatments is recommended to start. The number of treatments will depend on several factors such as; The area you are treating, the thickness of the hair, your genetic and hormonal background, and how strictly you follow your technician’s recommended treatment schedule. For those with hormonal imbalances, you will most likely need additional sessions to achieve ideal results. Laser is also the only effective way to reduce ingrown hairs. You will see dramatic results even after your first treatment.

Your sessions should be consistently scheduled every 4 weeks to 6 weeks. The more treatments you complete, the slower the growth will be. Therefore, the sessions will be spaced even more. You should avoid direct sun exposure and you can only shave between sessions.
